The Orioles received home runs from two of their newly anointed All-Stars on Monday night against the Minnesota Twins, but couldn't muster any added offense without the help of the longball.
Before Monday's series opener against the Minnesota Twins, Manny Machado and Adam Jones expressed how honored they were to be selected to play in this year's All-Star Game by a vote of their peers. Both players were voted onto the American League roster by fellow players, an honor that wasn't lost on either player.
And after learning they were All-Stars, both Machado and Jones hit solo homers.
