MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Ball State women's tennis team ended fall play this weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regionals hosted by Middle Tennessee State.
Senior Toni Ormond pulled off an upset over ninth seeded Adreanna Christopoulou from Western Kentucky. Ormond started the match off slow losing the first set by a score of 6-4. She then came back in the second set winning in tiebreaker fashion 7-6 (6) before taking the match from Christopoulou in the third set, 6-2. Junior Carmen Blanco also advanced past the round of 64 with her straight set (6-2, 6-2) win over Big Ten foe Indiana's Paula Gutierrez who was the No.
