RALEIGH, N.C. - - Senior Kassidy Swenson (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso) placed 11th in the 400m hurdles to lead the Ball State track & field team on the final day of the Adidas Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State at Paul Derr Track.
Swenson, who placed fifth in the 400m hurdles at last season's Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championships, finished Saturday's race in 1:02.80, less than a second off the MAC automatic qualifying mark of 1:01.89. Joining Swenson in the 400m hurdles was senior Olivia Ashba (Ellettsville, Ind./Edgewood) who placed 20th overall in 1:03.
