CLEVELAND, Ohio - - After her first-place finish at the Cardinal Duals last Friday, Ball State freshman cross country runner Emily Tromp (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) has been named the Mid-American Conference Runner of the Week.
“We are really proud of Emily and how well she has developed over the past few weeks,” head coach Brian Etelman said. “Her performance last Friday was a brief glimpse of her potential both for this season and long term over her time here. While a small step, it is a sign that our program is headed in the right direction and we believe we will be able to further show that at the MAC Championships in about five weeks.
