The Ball State women's basketball team earned its second-straight win at in-state rival Butler on Sunday afternoon in Hinkle Fieldhouse after defeating the Bulldogs 74-50.
The win over also marks the third Power 5 opponent Ball State head coach Brady Sallee has defeated during his five-year tenure with the Cardinals (5-2), who host Purdue on Thursday.
Sophomore guard Destiny Washington led the Cardinals offensively with a 17-point performance, just one shy of her career best. Sophomore guard Carmen Grande and senior center Renee Bennett chipped in 16-points apiece while junior forward Moriah Monaco ended the day with 10.
