Big Second Half Fuels WBB's In-State Rivalry Win At Butler

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Ball State women's basketball team earned its second-straight win at in-state rival Butler Sunday afternoon in Hinkle Fieldhouse after defeating the Bulldogs, 74-50. The win over Butler also marks the third Power 5 opponent Ball State head women's basketball coach Brady Sallee has defeated during his five-year tenure with the Cardinals.

The Cardinals have not defeated Butler in Hinkle Fieldhouse since the 2006-07 season. Ball State improves to 5-2 overall while the Bulldogs fell to 2-6.

Sophomore guard Destiny Washington led the Cardinals offensively with a 17-point performance, just one shy of her career best.
