Vettel to headline Schumacher charity game

Sebastian Vettel is set to headline a charity soccer match in honour of Michael Schumacher against a team led by German NBA legend Dirk Nowitzki.

The match, dubbed Champions for Charity, will see a number of drivers take on Nowitzki's team at the Coface Arena in Mainz on July 27. It will occur on the Wednesday before the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim.

Vettel will captain the team of drivers, Nazionale Piloti, which regularly plays a charity game on the eve of the Monaco Grand Prix and which featured Schumacher on numerous occasions. Schumacher is still recovering at home in Switzerland from the serious head injuries suffered in a skiing accident in December 2013.
