Kimi Raikkonen believes Ferrari can be pleased with its showing during Friday practice for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, but admits the team still has improvements to make.
Following a strong showing in pre-season, there was great anticipation surrounding Ferrari's potential heading into the first race of 2017, with early predictions suggesting the Scuderia could well take the fight to Mercedes under Formula One's new aerodynamic regulations.
Ferrari could only manage fifth and sixth in the opening session in Melbourne, though Vettel did manage to split the Mercedes pair in second practice, albeit half a second down on Friday pacesetter Lewis Hamilton.
