Grosjean returns Haas to points in Austin

Romain Grosjean says his U.S. Grand Prix "couldn't have been better" after he returned Haas to the points at its first-ever home race.

Grosjean and Haas had not scored points since the Austrian Grand Prix, with numerous brake and set-up issues hampering the team in recent rounds. Grosjean's prospects of returning to the top ten looked bleaked ahead of the race as he started from 17th, though the Frenchman climbed into the final points-paying position after Kimi Raikkonen's retirement in the latter part of the race.

Grosjean -- who was celebrating his 100th F1 race -- thinks scoring points at Haas' home race will be a welcome boost after recent struggles.
