Ecclestone wants an F1 race somewhere 'California way'

Bernie Ecclestone wants to add to the American races on the Formula One calendar and has his eye on a west coast grand prix.

Despite his recent comments to Russian media about lacking enthusiasm for the American market, Ecclestone has made little secret in recent years of his desire to expand F1's popularity Stateside. The U.S. Grand Prix returned to the calendar in 2012 at the Circuit of the Americas, which has quickly become a popular venue with drivers and fans alike.
