Alonso not ruling out future Indy 500 drive

Fernando Alonso believes a future drive at the Indy 500 would be "attractive for any driver" because of its status as one of the greatest races in motorsport.

Alonso came close to competing at the Le Mans 24 Hours alongside his Formula One commitments this season, only for the deal to fall through due to his contract with McLaren-Honda. The 33-year-old is considered the most complete driver of his generation and many fans would relish the chance to see him driving in another category.

At the weekend the Spaniard took to Twitter to set up the #AskAlo hashtag, encouraging fans to pose him a question.
