Lincoln, Neb. - The Auburn track and field team is set for a busy final day of competition on Saturday after qualifying eight athletes in the 60m and 60mH on Friday during the opening day of at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.
Sophomore Jonielle Smith led the way as the fastest qualifier in the women’s 60-meter dash in a time of 7.38. Smith will be joined in the final by freshman teammate Jenae Ambrose who set a new PR with a time of 7.47. In his first race of 2016, junior Teray Smith qualified in the 60 meters with a time of 6.
