Blake Countess Drafted By Philadelphia Eagles in 6th Round

Blake Countess came to Auburn last season as a graduate transfer to add much-needed depth to Auburn's secondary. The season didn't quite go as planned, but the former All-B1G cornerback still put up solid numbers with the Tigers.

Now, with the 196th overall pick in the 6th round, he's headed to Philadelphia to be an Eagle.

Countess was one of the more reliable defensive backs for the Tigers this past year. Auburn fans may most remember the dropped potential pick-six that could have swung momentum late in the first half of the 2015 Iron Bowl.

The season certainly wasn't what the graduate transfer expected when he joined Will Muschamp's defense at Auburn.
