BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Auburn junior outfielder Anfernee Grier was named to the All-SEC second team and the All-Defensive team the league office announced Monday.
“I’ve been impressed with Anfernee since day one,” Auburn head coach Butch Thompson said. “How hard he worked in every rep that he took. For him to have such a great junior year is really special. He is one of the most well-rounded student-athletes I have ever worked with. He excelled as a defender, a runner and a hitter. Most of all, Anfernee represented Auburn University in a first-class manner.
