Auburn falls to Kentucky in SEC play

AUBURN, Ala. – No. 11 Auburn women’s tennis fell in a heartbreaker to No. 13 Kentucky, 4-3 at Yarbrough Tennis Center on Sunday.

Junior Andie Dikosavljevic was first off the court in singles with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Kentucky’s No. 125 Akvile Parazinskaite. The win marks the 60th career singles victory for the Australia native, moving her into 15th all-time in Auburn history.

With the match tied, freshman Taylor Russo came through once again with a three-set thriller, defeating Mami Adachi, 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 to give the Tigers the lead.
