Auburn Recruiting: News & Rumors Coming Off A Huge Official Visit Weekend

The Auburn Tigers already boast one of the top recruiting classes in the country, but they're far from done, making a strong push during the last few weeks of recruiting as we heads towards National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 3. Here's all the latest news and rumors you need to know:

Top OT target has "fairly high" interest in Auburn
Four-star offensive tackle/defensive end Prince Sammons (Cincinnati, OH) is set to visit Auburn for the first time since taking an unofficial visit there two years ago, which ended with him receiving a scholarship offer. Though Ohio State and Michigan State are trending upward in the race to land him, Auburn gets a chance to make the lasting impression.

Head coach Gus Malzahn will visit him in school on Tuesday before they host him on the official visit over the weekend, getting the last crack at him before National Signing Day.

Though the other schools are recruiting Sammons to play either defensive end or offensive tackle, Auburn is the only school recruiting him to play exclusively at tackle. The 6'8", 280-pounder is ranked as the No. 211 overall recruit in the country.
