The Auburn Tigers are heading into a pivotal SEC contest at the Kentucky Wildcats on Thursday, and there's plenty of news to get to before AU hits the field at Commonwealth Stadium. Here's our Auburn Football Rumors Roundup: Latest Before Thursday's Kentucky Game.

Who's The Starting QB?

If you want to know who's going to start at quarterback for Auburn at Kentucky, you're likely just going to have to tune in right before kickoff to find out.

"We'll make that call right before we play," head coach Malzahn said during Wednesday's SEC coaches teleconference.

The competition pits current starting QB Sean White and Jeremy Johnson who started the team's first three games before being benched due to ineffectiveness.

"We'll just see how things go," Malzahn said when pressed on the decision.

Dismissed WR Duke Williams Apologizes

Discussed as a potential All-American candidate heading into the 2015 season, WR Duke Williams' time at Auburn was cut short earlier this week when he was dismissed for a string of off-field incidents.

Williams took to Instagram on Tuesday, accepting responsibility for his dismissal while sending out a heartfelt thank you to Auburn fans:

Tigers Continue Pursuit Of Clemson Commit

4-star 2016 linebacker Tre Lamar says his commitment to the Clemson Tigers is unwavering, but he's still listening to Auburn DC Will Muschamp's overtures.

"Mostly, he’s trying to get me up to a game, to try to see how I’m viewing my commitment at this point, see if I’m keeping things open or not,” Lamar said, via 247Sports. “I haven’t gone up to a game yet. I haven’t planned to make any visits other than Clemson quite yet.”

Auburn has one linebacker committed for 2016 and will likely aim to land a couple more.
