After coaching Orlando Magic forward Tobias Harris during the 2010-11 season at Tennessee, Pearl will now coach his younger brother, Tyler Harris. The former Providence forward, who announced his intention to transfer to Auburn last week, officially enrolled in classes on the Plains on Tuesday, Pearl said at the SEC Spring Meeting.
“I think Tyler can give us some leadership,” Pearl said. “He can give us some maturity. He’s been to the NCAA Tournament every year he’s been in college, so that’s where we’re trying to go. I just think to join a couple of the other pieces, I think this really enhances our position.
