Auburn Football Recruiting: Tigers Have A Chance To Flip South Carolina WR Commit Kyle Davis

The Auburn Tigers have a beat on four-star Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer wide receiver Kyle Davis despite his commitment to the University of South Carolina.

The Georgia Bulldogs, Tennessee Volunteers, and Auburn are all in contention for Davis at this point, and Auburn could be a leader for a flip due to Davis' relationship with wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig.

"That's my guy," Davis said. "We don't really talk about football much. We have personal talks."

Per Davis, the two have built an extremely strong line of communication -- especially after he visited the Tigers in late February.

"He (direct messages) me every day," Davis said Sunday while in attendance for The Opening regional camp in Atlanta.

With all this being said, how committed is Davis to South Carolina actually?

"I mean, I'm still committed but we'll see how things go," Davis said. "It's a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. I still like South Carolina. They still like me. It's going to be a very hard decision. I've got to look at all the aspects of it. It's pretty stressful."
