Auburn Football Recruiting: Tigers Closing In On Commitment From 4-Star DE?

The Auburn Tigers have several blue chip recruits on their radar heading into the dogs days of summer, with a host of key names potentially on their commitment radar in the coming days and weeks.

Who will be the first domino to fall? 247Sports' Keith Niebuhr believes it could be Vienna (GA) Dooly County defensive end Antonneous Clayton:

A 4-star end, Clayton is cousins with Auburn defensive tackle Montravius Adams. He visited Auburn for the first time May 30 and that went extremely well. Clayton said afterward he came close to committing that day. Instead, he decided to hold off and visit other schools. Clemson, Florida and Florida State are factors. Look for Clayton to visit Auburn again soon. If Auburn hits a homerun on that trip, whenever it may be, a commitment could be possible.

Clayton is currently ranked as the #10 weak-side defensive end in the nation and the #14 overall player in the state of Georgia by 247Sports.
