With his team struggling, Mike Budenholzer elected to make a change to the team’s starting lineup prior to Monday’s game sending Kyle Korver to the bench and replacing him with Thabo Sefolosha. The Hawks fell to the Thunder 102-99 for their seventh straight loss but put forth a much better effort than in their previous two games.
Korver talked about the decision on Tuesday with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Chris Vivlamore and indicated that he would do whatever it takes to help get the team back on track.
“Fine,” Korver said of the decision Tuesday.
