Atlanta and Brooklyn traded the lead back and forth throughout most of the game, but the Hawks closed the third quarter on a 15-6 run, finally giving them some breathing room.
However, the Nets weren't done. They cut the lead to one with less than two minutes to play, but Atlanta made several crucial free throws down the stretch to secure the win.
Atlanta now leads the series 2-0.

The Hawks forced the Nets into 16 turnovers, which they were able to turn into 19 points. Brooklyn's turnovers gave Atlanta extra possessions, easy baskets, and, ultimately, a major advantage.
Atlanta MVP:
Atlanta relied on their two big men in this one, and they came through. Paul Millsap led the team with 19 points, and Al Horford posted a monster double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds to go along with seven assists.
Brooklyn MVP:
Brook Lopez dominated the paint for the second straight game, recording 20 points and seven rebounds. Jarrett Jack also gave the Nets a big boost off the bench with 23 points.
