Matt Ryan Breaks Dan Fouts’ Record

In a very disappointing loss against the San Diego Chargers, Matt Ryan was able to write his name into the record books.

Atlanta’s starting quarterback completed 22 of 34 passes, throwing for 273 yards along with a touchdown and an interception. While that stat line is by no means eye-opening, the fact that this is the 46th game in a row in which Ryan has thrown for at least 200 yards is.

With this performance, Ryan has broken hall of fame QB Dan Fouts’ record for most consecutive games with at least 200 yards (45).

The last time Matt Ryan threw for fewer than 200 yards was in a 33-10 loss against the Seattle Seahawks, in week 10 of 2013.
