Falcons' Neal to have knee surgery, out 3-4 weeks

Atlanta Falcons first round draft pick Keanu Neal will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery Monday and will be sidelined three to four weeks, meaning he is expected to miss the Sept. 11 season opener against Tampa Bay.

Neal suffered the right knee injury in Thursday night's preseason loss to the Miami Dolphins. He missed a tackle attempt on running back Arian Foster and then went to the ground in pain. Neal was helped off the field and eventually walked to the locker room under his own power.

It was the second injury for Neal this preseason.
