Today the Falcons have signed running backs Terron Ward and Stevan Ridley to the active roster, in addition to signing running back Jhurell Pressley to the practice squad. The team also released linebacker A.J. Hawk and offensive lineman Mike Person.
Pressley was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings following the draft out of New Mexico. His most recent stint was with the Green Bay Packers.
Ridley was originally drafted in the third round (73rd overall) by the New England Patriots during the 2011 NFL Draft. The former LSU Tiger has seen action in 61 career games – 52 with New England.
