A man is being treated for a “severe head injury” after metal scaffolding fell on him near the construction site for the new Atlanta Falcons stadium, officials said.
Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer Kim Jones said her department and fire officials were at the scene near the intersection of Mangum and Mitchell streets. An ambulance was also on-site.
No further information was immediately available.
An Atlanta Journal-Constitution photographer is headed to the scene.
