For the second straight year, Vegas odds makers set the Falcons over/under for victories at 8.5. But, unlike 2014, Rotoworld’s Evan Silva — who has a strong track record when it comes to forecasting NFL results — believes fans should bet the over.
In other words, he’s predicting Atlanta to finish above .500.
Silva has plenty of reasons to feel optimistic. Of course, a new coaching staff can reinvigorate a roster, and Dan Quinn’s group has passed early tests with flying colors. A strong draft, which earned top marks from websites such as Pro Football Focus, ESPN and CBS Sports, has injected talent in much-needed areas.
