3 Overrated Atlanta Falcons Players In 2015

The Atlanta Falcons missed the playoffs last season, costing head coach Mike Smith his job. They've won just 10 games in the past two seasons after winning at least 10 the previous three years. While Matt Ryan is still a franchise quarterback, the Falcons have several players who are overrated. Here are the three most overrated players on the Falcons.

3. Paul Worrilow

Worrilow was the Falcons' leading tackler last season, but that's not reflective of his true level of play. Worrilow graded out as the worst player on the Falcons defense last season, according to Pro Football Focus (subscription required). Only one middle linebacker had a worse grade in the NFL. The Falcons need to find an upgrade.

2. Jake Matthews

The Falcons spent a high pick on Matthews last season, but he had a terrible rookie season. He graded out as the worst Falcons player and worst tackle in the NFL on Pro Football Focus last season. He's still young and can turn it around, but Matthews simply isn't very good right now.

1. Roddy White

White was once a great NFL receiver. However, he's battled injuries in recent seasons and isn't the player he once was. In fact, White was one of the worst WRs in football last season according to Pro Football Focus. He ranked behind superstars like Jeremy Ross, Preston Parker and Josh Morgan. White might have a better season if he can stay healthy, but he's no longer a Top 30 wide out in the NFL.
