MLB Weekly Wrap: Uh oh

Injuries are a real and unfortunate part of sports, and even more unfortunately, the injury bug is all too non-discriminatory.

It could be your leadoff hitter, which it was for the Nationals, or it could be one of your starting pitchers, which it was for the Diamondbacks. Those hurt far worse than the guys on the end of the bench going down.

Nationals leadoff hitter and center fielder Adam Eaton will likely miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL. Eaton injured his left knee beating out an infield single in Friday night’s game against the New York Mets.
