Dose: Indians Advance (Rotoworld)

The Indians made it look pretty easy again Wednesday, shutting out the Blue Jays for the second time in the LCS to advance to their first World Series since 1997.

Ryan Merritt, who pitched just 11 innings for the Indians as a 24-year-old rookie this season, started and threw 4 1/3 innings before turning the ball over to the stellar Cleveland bullpen. Bryan Shaw, Andrew Miller and Cody Allen finished up with 4 2/3 innings from there. Miller got eight of the outs and was named ALCS MVP afterwards.

It was a worthy honor for Miller, who struck out 14 over 7 2/3 scoreless innings in the series.
