ATLANTA -- After recently becoming more concerned about the lingering effects a Jan. 28 auto accident had on Sean Rodriguez's left shoulder, the Braves turned their attention back toward Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips, who is now seemingly willing to waive his no-trade clause for a deal that would send him to Atlanta for two Minor Leaguers.
The Braves and Reds are still working on finalizing a deal, but a source familiar with the negotiations indicated there's a chance the Commissioner's Office could be in position to provide approval for the trade on Sunday.
