Phillies, Braves Hot, Nats Hotter

The three best teams in the National League since June 1st have been the Phillies, Braves, and Nationals. But the order may just surprise you. Looking at the standings, most would say the Phillies, some would say the Braves, but no one predicted the Nationals domination over the past 22 days. The Phillies and Braves are each 13-7. Those are great numbers, but they don't match the Nationals' 15-6 record. The Nats have been the hottest team in the MLB, unfortunately, the two teams in front of the Nats, are tied for the second hottest in the league: The Braves and Phillies.

The Braves are in first place in the Wild Card, 2 games in front of the Giants. They are 4.5 behind the Phillies in the NL East race. The Nats are 9 back of the Phillies, and 4.5 behind the Braves in the Wild Card.

This makes for a good race, and shows us that when the Nats get Stephen Strasburg back, and when Bryce Harper comes up, watch out.
