The Braves' pitching shined in Arizona tonight. Jair Jurrjens, Jonny Venters, and Craig Kimbrel pitched almost perfect ball in the NL's 5-1 victory over the AL.

The NL All-Stars won for the second straight year, after losing 13 straight to the AL All-Stars. The winner of the All-Star game gets home field advantage in the World Series, and if the Braves keep up their great season, and make it to the World Series, they'll have home field advantage over whoever they play. (The team with home field advantage in the WS wins nearly 75% of the time.)

The Braves kick off the second half of the season at Home against the Washington Nationals on Friday. The projected match up is Livan Hernandez vs. Tim Hudson.

Hope you enjoyed the All-Star game and the Home Run Derby!
