The England forward even played an important role during his seven-minute cameo in the Emirates FA Cup semi-final, assisting Alexis’ winner against Manchester City, and is looking forward to making a similar impact in Saturday’s showdown with Chelsea.
“It has been difficult obviously coming back from injury and getting into the team and out of it,” Welbeck said.
