JONESBORO, Ark. (3/25/17) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team advanced to the finals of the Southland Bowling League Championship Tournament for the third consecutive season with a 2-0 series victory over Vanderbilt in the semifinals Saturday afternoon at Hijinx Family Entertainment Center.
The top-seeded Red Wolves will face No. 3 Vanderbilt in the finals Sunday morning, after the Commodores downed Stephen F. Austin in the elimination match Saturday night to work their way into the championship match.
In the semifinals, A-State took a 1-0 lead in the series after an impressive start in the individual portion of the match.
