UA to celebrate Olympians on Fayetteville square

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas freshman pole vaulter Lexi Weeks and junior triple jumper Clive Pullen, along with five former Razorbacks, all competing at the Olympics in August in Rio de Janeiro, will be introduced at 5:30 p.m. Thursday during a send-off rally on the Fayetteville Square.

The former Razorbacks at the rally will be Omar McLeod (world leader in the 110-meter hurdles), Sandi Morris (American record-holder in the pole vault), Chrishuna Williams (800 meters), Dominique Scott (10,000) and Taylor Ellis-Watson (1,600 relay).

Morris, Weeks, Williams and Ellis-Watson are U.S. Olympians, McLeod and Pullen will compete for Jamaica and Scott for South Africa.
