Rawleigh Williams carted off in final spring practice

FAYETTEVILLE — Rawleigh Williams was carted off the practice field after sustaining an injury in Arkansas' final spring practice Saturday.

According to a spokesperson, Williams' injury was diagnosed as a "stinger" and he was taken to a local hospital as a precaution because of a previous neck injury. Arkansas coach Bret Bielema is expected to provide further details later today.

The Arkansas junior running back went down during an inside-run segment of the Razorbacks' 15th and final spring practice, which was held inside the Walker Pavilion because of severe thunderstorms. He was immobilized and carted off on a stretcher.
