Arkansas RB Rawleigh Williams carted off field with injury before Red-White spring game

Arkansas junior running back Rawleigh Williams was carted off the field after sustaining an injury prior to Saturday’s Red-White spring game.

A school spokesperson said Williams sustained a “stinger” and was taken to a local hospital for precautionary reasons.

Williams was injured when he was brought down at the end of a run during a drill. He was able to move his legs and fingers.

Williams suffered a broken neck that was believed to be career threatening as a true freshman in 2015 but has since been able to return to action and played in all 13 games last season.
