3 Reasons Why Arkansas Is GUARANTEED To Beat Kansas State In The Liberty Bowl

We don't necessarily condone gambling (where it's not legal, at least), but you can't go wrong with this next bowl pick. Here's 3 Reasons Why Arkansas Is GUARANTEED To Beat Kansas State In The Liberty Bowl.

3. K-State's QB Situation

The Wildcats' quarterback situation has been a mess all year due to injury and inconsistency. Junior Joe Hubener appears to be the favorite to start the Liberty Bowl, but Kody Cook's heroics against West Virginia could get him the nod. Either way, nobody in Manhattan seems to have a clue what they're going to do at quarterback in the Liberty Bowl. That's troublesome with the Razorback's high-wire offense on the other side.

2. The Big Three

QB Brandon Allen is just three TD passes away from tying Ryan Mallett's single-season Arkansas record (32). RB Alex Collins needs just two rushing scores to match Bill Burnett's record mark from 1969 (19). WR Drew Morgan is two TD catches away from Jarius Wright's record (12). This offensive trio took the SEC by storm in the final month or so of the season. They'll have a field day against Kansas State.

1. Completing The Turnaround

Arkansas has put together a complete turnaround after a disastrous start to the 2015 season, and this is the chance to put a major exclamation point on things and build momentum for 2016. If the Razorbacks come out victorious, they'll secure their highest win total in a season in four years (eight). K-State will be playing for the past in trying to send off Bill Snyder with a win. Arkansas will be playing for the future.
