LITTLE ROCK – For the first time since the 2000 and 2001 seasons, ninth-seeded Little Rock baseball will be making its second consecutive Sun Belt Conference Tournament appearance when it faces eighth-seeded Texas State on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. (CT), at J.I. Clements Stadium in Statesboro, Georgia.
Every game of the tournament will air live on WatchESPN/ESPN3.
The Trojans (21-33, 11-18 Sun Belt) last faced the Bobcats (27-29, 13-17) on April 7-9 at Gary Hogan Field and came away with a series win. The series victory was the fourth consecutive against Texas State — something Little Rock had never accomplished against any Sun Belt opponent.
