Trojans Come Up Short in Home Opener Against Purdue

LITTLE ROCK – In its home opener, Little Rock baseball came up short with a 6-4 loss to Purdue on Friday afternoon at Gary Hogan Field.

Four Trojan batters had multiple hits for the game. Bryce Dimitroff was 3 for 5 for the day with two runs scored. Dalton Thomas, Cameron Knight and Hunter Owens each went 2 for 4. Thomas tallied two RBIs while Knight and Owens put up one each.

The Trojans outhit the Boilermakers by a margin of 11-5, but on the mound, Little Rock allowed 8 walks and hit three Purdue batters with a pitch.
