RIO VERDE, Ariz. – Little Rock posted the low round of the tournament and climbed six spots to finish in seventh place at Rio Verde Invitational on Sunday. The Trojans combined for a team score of 290 in their final round to finish the tournament at 908.
No other school finished the tournament with a round lower than 292.
Eastern Michigan won the event with a team score of 889. Northern Illinois (893) placed second while UMKC (895) finished third.
Little Rock finished one stroke ahead of Arkansas State and Western Michigan, who tied for eighth place at 909.
