LITTLE ROCK – For the second consecutive year, the Little Rock soccer team has earned its highest-ever seed in the Sun Belt Tournament.
This year, Little Rock (11-6-1, 6-3-1 Sun Belt Conference) will be the No. 3 seed in the tournament thanks to a 2-0 victory over Troy (7-9-3, 3-5-2) on Sunday at the Coleman Sports & Recreation Complex.
Just last season, Little Rock earned the league's No. 5 seed, then the best ever in team history. This season, Little Rock will take on the league's No. 6 seed, on November 4 in Foley, Alabama, in the tournament's opening round.
