Eight-Run Inning Powers Little Rock Past UCA

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Eight runs in the fourth inning powered Little Rock baseball past Central Arkansas with a final score of 11-6 on Tuesday night at Dickey-Stephens Park.

The Trojans (15-26) tallied 11 runs and 13 hits for the evening — its most against the Bears (22-19) since 2007.

Little Rock's victory improved its record to 3-1 against Central Arkansas when playing at Dickey-Stephens Park, and it was the Trojans' first win at Dickey-Stephens since 2013.

"I'm obviously pleased with our club for getting the win, but I'm even more pleased with the way they responded after the five runs UCA put up in the second inning," Little Rock head coach Chris Curry said.
