LITTLE ROCK – The ninth annual SpectacUALR will honor the family of Mary and Rick Edwards, tremendous benefactors to the Little Rock Department of Athletics and the UA Little Rock campus. The event is set for Thursday, Oct. 5 at the Jack Stephens Center.
"Mary, myself and our family are honored and humbled to be the 2017 SpectacUALR honorees," Rick Edwards said. "When we watched the video presentation that Chasse showed us in the athletic suite in the Jack Stephens Center, we both looked at each other and choked up. We have supported the event for years, but to be recognized on this level is beyond words.
