UMKC leads the 19-team field with a team score of 295. Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan are tied for second place at 300.
Chandler Gallagher of UMKC is in first place following a 3-under 69 in round one. Northern Arizona teammates Sofia Anokhina and Sierra Bezdicek are tied for second place at 2 under par.
