Huskies hang on versus 'Cats in OT

The Arizona Wildcats fought hard but were ultimately outlasted at home against the No. 9 Washington Huskies on Saturday night, 35-28 in Arizona's Pac-12 Conference opener.

In the first quarter the Wildcats controlled the tempo by controlling the time of possession, as Arizona had the ball for 11 minutes, Arizona had more plays with, 28 than Washington's six.

The Wildcats started the night with a 15 play, 75-yard drive that resulted in the game's first score, as freshman running back J.J. Taylor punched it in from a yard out.

The second quarter didn't start off as well, as the 'Cats failed on a fourth-and-goal conversion that could’ve put them up 14-0.
