Charlie Ragle is leaving Tucson for Berkeley.
According to football scoop, the Arizona Wildcats’ special teams/tight ends coach will join new California Golden Bears head coach Justin Wilcox in the Bay Area. Wilcox was recently hired by Cal after they fired former Arizona assistant Sonny Dykes.
Wilcox, the former Wisconsin and USC defensive coordinator, offered Ragle a three-year deal according to the report. This will be the third Arizona assistant to bolt this offseason. The first one was Donte Williams to Nebraska, then it was Tony Dews to West Virginia, and the most surprising one yet was Ragle to Cal.
