The 6’6” Small Forward out of Winnipeg, Canada, Emmanuel Akot is making his way to Tucson. His official visit is this weekend and we can’t wait for him to arrive. At 6-foot-6 he has the ball control and distributing awareness of a point guard while still being able to rise about the rim if needed to.
Coach Sean Miller has had similar players like this before in Rondae Hollis Jefferson and Solomon Hill. The difference with Akot that makes him so unique is his shooting ability, which is better than both Rhonde and Solo.
