More from Arizona Wildcats
Head Coach Jay Johnson certainly made a big splash in his first year with the Wildcats, taking over an Arizona Baseball team that went 31-24 in 2015, to a game away from winning the programs fifth National Title.
That first season will be very hard to top, especially after a pretty long and difficult off-season, fresh off a heartbreaking loss to Coastal Carolina in the final championship game. Additionally, the Wildcats lost a ton of great baseball talent in the departures of Bobby Dalbec, Cody Ramer, Zach Gibbons, Cesar Salazar and Nathan Bannister along with a few others.
